Where is my hosting control panel?

After logging in, the AI Hosting dashboard is your hosting control panel. You can manage domains, files, databases, email accounts, FTP access, SSL and backups from the left menu.

How do I add a domain?

Go to Domains and click Register Domain. Enter a domain you already own, choose a DNS connection method and submit it. AI Hosting does not sell or register domain names.

Which DNS connection method should I choose?

Use an A Record for most main domains, CNAME for a subdomain, or AI Hosting Nameservers when you want to manage DNS records inside AI Hosting.

How do I connect a domain with an A record?

At your registrar or DNS provider, create an A record for @ pointing to the server IP shown on the domain registration page. Your DNS remains managed by the current provider.

When should I use CNAME?

Use CNAME for a subdomain such as app.example.com. The registration page shows the CNAME target. A main or root domain should normally use the A Record method.

How do AI Hosting Nameservers work?

Replace your current nameservers at the domain registrar with the AI Hosting nameservers shown on the registration page. Nameserver changes can take 24–48 hours to update fully.

Why can I not use DNS Manager for my domain?

The built-in DNS Manager is available only when the domain uses AI Hosting Nameservers. With A Record or CNAME methods, manage DNS through your current registrar or DNS provider.

Why is my domain still waiting for DNS?

The domain is not yet resolving to the expected server. Check the detected and expected IP details shown on the Domains page, correct the DNS records and click Check DNS Again.

How is SSL installed?

SSL is requested automatically after the domain points correctly to AI Hosting. DNS must be verified before a free Let’s Encrypt certificate can be issued.

Why is SSL still pending?

SSL remains pending while DNS is incorrect or still propagating. Correct the DNS first and allow time for it to update. The system will continue retrying automatically.

How do I create a database?

Go to Databases and click Create Database. Enter a database name and optionally a username and password. Save the full credentials displayed after creation.

Why does my database name have an extra prefix?

AI Hosting automatically adds your hosting username as a prefix. The final database name and username are previewed before you create them.

How do I access phpMyAdmin?

Open the Databases page and click Open phpMyAdmin. Use the database username and password created for that database.

How do I install WordPress or another application?

Add and connect the domain first, then create a database. After that, use the available application or template installer and select the required domain and database.

How do I create a professional email address?

Go to Email Accounts and click Create Email Account. Select a domain, enter an email name such as info, and create a mailbox password.

Why can I not send or receive email yet?

Creating a mailbox does not automatically update DNS managed elsewhere. Add the required mail A and MX records shown on the email creation page and allow time for DNS propagation.

How do I access Webmail?

On the Email Accounts page, click the Webmail icon beside the account. Log in using the complete email address and its mailbox password.

How do I change an email account password?

Open Email Accounts and click the key icon beside the required mailbox. Enter and save the new password.

What is an FTP account?

FTP provides direct access to website files through software such as FileZilla. Most WordPress users do not need FTP for normal page or content editing.

How do I create an FTP account?

Go to FTP Manager, click Add FTP Account, select a domain, enter a short username and password, and optionally choose a relative folder path.

Why is my FTP username different from what I entered?

Your hosting username is added automatically as a prefix. The complete FTP username is previewed below the username field and must be used when connecting.

What FTP connection details should I use?

Use the FTP host and port 21 shown on the FTP Manager page, the complete prefixed FTP username, and the password created for that account.

Does deleting an FTP account delete website files?

No. Deleting an FTP account removes only that login. The website files remain on the server.

How do I manage website files?

Use File Manager from the hosting dashboard. Advanced users can also create an FTP account and connect through an FTP client.

How do I create a backup?

Go to Backups and start a new backup for the available hosting content. Allow the backup job time to complete before checking its final status.

Can each of my clients have a separate hosting control panel?

No. Your current AI Hosting account is one control panel managed by you. Do not share your main login with clients. You may give a client access only to their own application dashboard, such as WordPress.

Where can I find setup instructions?

Detailed guidance is displayed directly on the important Domains, Databases, Email and FTP pages. Please review the instruction blocks before opening a support ticket.

What should I include when contacting support?

Include the affected domain, the page or feature being used, the exact error message and the steps already completed. This helps the support team investigate faster.

What happens if I forget my account password?

Use the Forgot Password link on the login page. If you cannot access your purchase email address, contact support through the Open Desk button.
